Francisco A Fierro Jr. has over 30 years of experience as a Professional Construction Surveyor and Manager. He is a second generation Construction Surveyor and has worked on projects consisting of residential, commercial, industrial, environmental, government, international, and high profile projects. In his +30 years, Mr. Fierro has been trained in the "Old School" art of Construction surveying and has progressed with the constant change of technology in survey instrumentation and operation. Because of his training and experience, Mr. Fierro has developed methods to paying close attention to detail, check drawings for accuracy, and set a high standard for getting the job done correctly the first time. Troubleshooting and problem solving are another asset to Mr. Fierro's Professional abilities, along with his hands-on constructability knowledge.
Residential housing / utilities, and Industrial / Heavy-Civil Construction Projects:
Mr. Fierro began his career working with his father on local projects in El Paso, Tx USA, and Juarez, Chihuahua Mex. The projects were from individual residential developments to parking lots, shopping malls, warehouses, and large housing estates. There were also City and State projects consisting of residential roadways, sub-divisions, retention ponds, underground utilities, State Highways and Bridges, water canal systems, hospitals, civic buildings, and a jail annex. Mr. Fierro continued his up bringing with ALTA Surveys, Surveyors Real Property Reports (SRPR), Property boundaries, land topograghies, and lot surveys. All from setting out to completion
Mr. Fierro has expanded and gained a wider range of experience on Federal Projects: International Bridges, International Airport runways, NASA jet parking pads, and hangars. Military projects: Buildings, roadways, and air-runways. Enviromental Projects: Remedial Radiation Containment Cell, Radioactive Removal Site, and a River Dam.
High Profile Projects:
Mr. Fierro has been involved with the construction of some high profile projects: Olmsted Locks and Dam, St Louis Cardinal (Busch) Baseball Stadium, Greenville Mississippi Cable Stayed Bridge, Hoover Dam Bridge, MODOT I-170/I-270 (7 Bridge overpass), Comanche Unit 3 Fossil Fuel Power Plant, (Africa) Angola Liquid Natural Gas Plant, Union Pacific Track & Truss, Hurricane Katrina Levees, and Chevron Pipeline.
